Adipex-hair loss?

I've never taken adipex (only the cheaper generic), but it should be the same.  I've never noticed excessive hair loss and I've been taking it on/off for years.  Since you are taking adipex, are you also cutting calories?  Dieting can cause a vitamin deficiency that can lead to hair loss.  And 3-4 months would be an appropriate time for your hair to react to a lack of something.  So can alot of other things - overactive/underactive thyroid, stress. 
If it's really bad, maybe you should see a dr.  It could also be the start of a medical problem and if I were you,  I'd  want to know for sure.  Good luck!

I am healthy but have found that when I take adipex or phentermine my hair does thin in the front. Well I am a forty year old woman so that caused concern. I went to my hair dresser and Dr and the Hair dresser said to make sure I used a clarifying shampoo and the Dr. followed with taking a multi vitamin. I use the USANA vitamins but they are a bit pricey for vitamins each month ($40). My other friend who also had the same issue takes Centrum and she said it works fine. The Centrum upset my tummy is the only reason I did not continue to take it. If you want the info on the vitamins let me know. PM me.
